About the Author The Author was born near the village of Derwydd, Carmarthenshire, in the heart of unpopulated countryside. On leaving school he joined the RAF and later spent many years travelling Europe and overseas. Photography was always in the background, and a visit to Blackpool in 1967 proved to be the catalyst for his interest when he captured some images of a Piper Cherokee aircraft; flying later becoming a hobby which he still indulges in occasionally. Later, moving on to the computer industry, he now concentrates on Photo Renovation. Philip currently lives in Owain Glyndwr country near Harlech, the Snowdonia backdrop further stirring his passion for photography.
